How do you add a picture to your Blog homepage?

How can I get a photograph on my blog homepage. It is asking for a URL address, is there an easy picture upload feature?

The only way I can add a picture is to use the Add Page Element >> Picture add on that, as you say, asks for the URL. You just have to go browsing for it. I did find out that the picture should be a small size already or the program will try to reduce the size for you and that can take a while. Another idea is to use the new slideshow feature. Go to your Dashboard and you should see a new note about this. I don't see why you couldn't have a one picture slide show. I have not used it, yet, so I don't know the ins and outs.
